Elephant Ride

We went on an elephant ride which was excellent. Our driver pulled up on the side of the road and there was our elephant and trainer. We climbed this little bamboo platform and then climbed onto the seat on the elephant's back. We took off in the jungle and it was truly a jungle. Our elephant ate the whole ride, breaking off bamboo branches and other plants and trees. He ate without stopping. There are no seatbelts so you have to hold on when he is descending a steep, muddy incline or climbing back up a hill. There was no other sign of life and it was a really fun ride.
