A Lot of Thai Cooking Class in Chiang Mai
At 9:30 am, we were picked up from our hotel and driven to our cooking class about 10 minutes away at Yui's home. We made 6 dishes: pad thai (a famous noodle dish), shrimp soup, spring rolls, green chicken curry, mango with sticky rice. Yui was our teacher and there were only 4 students including me and Marc. We each had our own stove, wok, cooking utensils and ingredients for each dish which we would make after each lesson and demonstration. By the way, this class took place in her home!
Yui, our wonderful cooking teacher, brought us to the local market. There is a picture of her in front of all the different kinds of rice at the market.
A Taste of Thai cooking school was one of the best experiences!
